You will also most likely want to get a safe deposit box, if you don't already have one. Most homeowners or renters policies don't cover loss of gold bullion.

Unless you expect hyperinflation to wipe out not only the value of currency but also the electronic record keeping systems related to it and other financial instruments, surely one can store gold more efficiently by purchasing it virtually and letting it remain stored in a bank rather than bringing it home to your own safe.

Now, if you want to melt it down and paint yourself with it, that's another matter. Just be sure to leave a patch of skin exposed so you don't suffocate.

I see that you too have learned a lot from James Bond movies.

Actually, those are real. Her name's Denise Milani (I can read really small print when it counts) and her shtick is that she's never gone topless. Hence, whenever somebody sends me a link with her name in it, it gets deleted. She's fine and all, but that's an incredibly arrogant branding posture. Nothing's *that* special.

You think that's bad? The first time I scanned past it quickly, I thought it said "Does she shave your ass?"

I didn't say home safe. I said safe deposit box. Most people who buy gold actually do tend to do it for the doomsday scenario, in my experience, so they don't necessarily want it to be a simple debit on the bank's books; the want to exercise physical dominion and control.

No, that's a question I would ask about your mom.

Gwnc did. Clearly she wants to be able to fondle it occasionally. And sometimes sit atop it, while stroking her white cat, and saying "mwah, hah, hah ha."

Some advice on how where to stash your gold. Lots of fun stuff on that site.

Only on the internet. It's hilarious because of its earnestness.

Maybe they are saggy without the support of a teeny tiny bikini. This is what we small-chested girls think about everyone bigger than a C. Ahh, delusion.
