I disagree -- everyone will mostly agree that I am mainly correct when I say that your wife's best work (from an artistic standpoint) is the priest.

Of course, I'm a fan of your base avatar. Seeing that jaunty, devil-may-care grin cheers me up every time.

Dissent, I like the Reynoldo Ortega homage the best.

Is that the stuff they use to make the robot-actors talk funny on Battlestar Galactica?

My favorite is Hank E. Neumann. One of my brothers just proudly put his Alfred E. Neumann ornament on his Christmas tree last weekend.

VH1 or MTV, one of them is doing "100 Best Teenstars."

Marcia Brady is 86. so far Dodgie Howzer is like 15 ahead of her. I can't imagine the top 10. Someone from 90210 is ahead of her.

I'm sorry, but the whole test has to be off. I would gauge ranking by how many people have masturbated to your image. You can add some multiplier for male/female teen masturbation frequency. Still, Marcia has to be top 10, yes?

The channels skew these "lists" to their current demographic. Thus, Gerry Mathers has no chance, but Punky Brewster is a shoo-in.

eta: or the Olsens.

If you pick the right spots in the south of france, no. Also, I have found the "European" pool at the Wynn has a higher end crowd.

just FYI, full disclosure as it were, by Hank-Lisa do you mean Hank merged into the Mona Lisa or the one where people are in a gallery looking at a painting. The gallery was made by a canned program, not made by Chinaski, Inc.

Fashion question . . .

I don't know how you people can choose just one "favorite" Hank avatar. Do you have only one "favorite" painting? One "favorite" movie? One "favorite" Steely Dan song? Of course not. And this narrowness is the mark of the philistine.

But leaving that aside, has anyone been taking advantage of the complete and utter collapse of our economy to buy some new clothes? Any deals out there on the good stuff? Christmas presents for others may have to wait - this is essential spending. But I am not paying $350 for a Brioni shirt during a time of National Emergency.

I'd wait. I've read some of the more progressive firms are moving to uniform shirts and pants, (you know with your first name sewn across the heart) in the new year. Marketing experts have been saying it taps into the public's confidence in institutions, like say Mr. goodwrench.

People in a gallery looking at a painting.

Sorry. But it does not surprise me that my internet persona favors a canned program over artistic individuality. My internet persona also enjoys "Two and a Half Men", Miller Lite, and the band Creed.

Wait until January when the market is flooded with the inventory of all of the retailers who are waiting until the holiday gorging is over to file for bankruptcy and dump their goods.

If you can hold off the urge to haggle with the twits at Needless Markup pushing that excellently-crafted and excellently-overpriced stuff, wait until January. You'll do another 30%-60% better.

But what if an Obama-inspired wave of hope washes over the country on January 20th and everyone jacks their prices back up? Fucking hope.

Yes, NM was on my mind because they are still holding their line on the Zegna stuff. But they will crack. Oh yes.

No doubt. Zegna's going to drop like a rock because, though very high quality, they make a lot of the stuff. Brioni's still a limited producer, so you're not going to get much movement on that stuff.

You'll be sobered from the holiday festivities by at least the 14th. This gives you the better part of a week to shop before the hope premium kills the bargains.

One nice thing about this downturn - being a terrific drunk is back in style. I'm not sure my brain is yet recovered from Saturday night. Dom Perignon rose (somebody was giving it away, so I was liberally taking) and Booker's Bourbon do not mix well. I think I offered many impromptu speeches and the usual wry witticisms. I'll leave my wife to handle the fallout.

I need a photo where everybody's standing still. I can't properly evaluate with all the machinery, the movement.

Yes, it's clearly much better than the average nude beach. But I fear it would break my brain, have me screaming "Just stop! Stop for a second and let me get a look at them titaaaays!" (cue Chappelle voice here)

Speaking of yoga pants, I was at a jewelry store today (watch battery changed only, unfortunately, as we are in a National Emergency and all that) and the lady ahead of me apologized for staring at me (I hadn't noticed), but, she explained, it was because she looooooooooved my pants.

They are possibly the oldest, rattiest pair of yoga pants I own. I'm not sure why the paean to the pants. I suspect she was admiring my tushie.

Hey everybody, check out dtb's ass! No really, check it out. If you miss it this time around, she's holding additional daily showings at 3pm and 7pm, and a Sunday Matinee at 12, bring the kids!
