He doesn't need advanced technology to kill an awful lot of people in Seoul, and Tokyo isn't that far away either.

It's totally rational for the North Koreans to want a deterrent, and to use tension with us to prop up their regime.

I'm sorry. It seems I'm talking about the reality of the situation given who currently sits in office. We're not talking about Obama, Clinton, or even Bush. Kim is crazy. Trump is crazy. Do you think there's no possibility of Trump "solving" this with a military solution?

With regard to North Korea, pretty much, as I don't think he will see much upside in making trouble, and I think the status quo can continue indefinitely.

Why? My point is that he acts pretty rationally.
