There is a way to remove it. Go to the options menu and change the Signature setting. I believe that will fix it.

NO. I think peppermint schnapps has a higher alcohol content and creme de menthe is sweeter so it would change how the recipe tastes.

For baking, generally you want the creme de menthe not peppermint schnapps.

I was in your city this weekend and was disturbed by the latest in sorority girl chic: cowboy boots with short skirts/shorts.

I thought this was just a Daisy Duke thing and that once Romo dumped her we would all see the shame in all things related to Jessica. Apparently not.

I was only there for the game, so I didn't venture out to my old haunts. Please tell me this is just a campus thing and does not extend into the rest of the city.

As I've not seen this in person, I think we can safely say it's campus-specific. Sadly, it's a "fashion" that predates Jessica Simpson -- it's a way of saying "woo! Texas!" in a way the natives seem to find appealing.

Women in LA are still overly fond of the boots with short skirt or shorts look. Only now the number of types of boots has expanded. I find the entire thing to be moronic, but for some reason these women don't run their outfits by me for approval before heading out.

I thought it was supposed to be a baby shower cake for someone who is scheduled to have a C-section but the little sign makes no sense at all. It's just one of the many freaky baby shower cakes on Cakewrecks.

I see it every six months when I go to the antique festival in Warrenton. There are a half dozen or so trashy chic boutiques that thrive off that look, and the ladies that run those shops dress appropriately.

I actually bought my most recent pair of cowboy boots from one of those stalls.

I am a native. I've lived in this state for most of my life. I have seen the look from time to time, mainly as a parody or a joke, but never on the scale I saw it this weekend. I would say at least 1/3 of the women under 30 on or around campus were wearing boots with either shorts, a short skirt, or a short dress.

I would say it was cultish, but I was wearing a burnt orange polo and tan shorts, so I don't have much room to talk.

The game wasn't so bad. It was my kid's first college football game, so anything short of an actual murder on the field would have been OK. We knew it would be blow out, so we found other things to focus on. Girls in boots was one of those things. We also sat next to a family that knew the backup QB. So, it was pretty exciting when they put him in and he not only passed off the first play, but ran in the touchdown at the end of his first drive.

Got to eat at Dirty Martins, but otherwise it was an in and out sort of affair. BTW, the AT&T Conference center is a very nice hotel if you have friends who want to stay near campus. We had a parking pass for the game, but the hotel was about the same distance.
