Thurgreed, I hereby by call on you to officially acknowledge ppnyc's at tthis point 64 lb weight loss. Your failure to do so to date is disgraceful and a blemish on this board.

I recall reading something about this, but the meanings of words and phrases in ppnyc's posts are elusive and ephemeral, and so I don't always have the time or energy to lasso them to the ground as you have here.

ppnyc, how do you square your statements about losing weight and being on the road to greater fitness with your concession that you have given up on training and working out due to time constraints?

I think you've lost your mind too! I try to work out at night at a 24 hour fitness type gym. With law school it is harder. I passed my Contracts quiz...and work blew up. I concede training ebbs and flows.

You have quizzes in your law school?

What types of gyms are there other than "fitness type" gyms?

You lost 64 pounds (and I doubt this number because you are an habitual liar). That is quite an accomplishment. I bet you could stand to drop another 30.

The real question is, why do you come here? And I want a legitimate answer. Last time around, you acted like a paralegal when you were not. You wanted everyone to think you were hot when you weren't (and won't be no matter how much weight you lose). You want so much to be accepted here and it's not going to happen. I'm sorry to be mean, but you will continue to be ignored on this board because you are highly fucking annoying. So what is your goal? Sit there and think about it for a second. Once you've figured out what your goal is, ask yourself, "Is there any chance I can achieve this goal with these people?" And then tell yourself, "No," and move on.

You said you're in law school. Go find a law student's board and annoy them.

I'm only seeing this b/c of your persistence in quoting, but it would seem that the intent was "'24 Hour Fitness (tm)'-type gym" rather than a "24-hour fitness-type gym". I think you should brush up on your idiot-idioms before continuing in your quixotic quoting.

I ask myself that at times as well. Initially, it was that I was so needy for attn and approval I'd even take negative attn. Now, honestly? To seek approval or chiding and lecturing from people I've never met? Less important.

The need to be right has gone away because I have more going on to balance in life. my time away I've focused on rehashing and rebuilding a lot of things.

Will I get the approval of your little cool crowd clique? No. I'm not delusional as plf said But, there are a few cool people here that I relate to. If you find that annoying, so be it. you'll deal. but you're a controlling douche and you can't. :)

See, this is the type of thing that gets confusing. In consecutive sentences, you state that 1) TM will be able to deal with your presence here, and 2) he actually will not be able deal to due to his controlling doucheness. This is the type of thing that is going to kill you on contracts quizzes.

You have met Thurgreed. Remember? It was a while ago. You made arrangements to meet him in a bar, I think, so that he could provide the board with an assessment of your looks. I don't recall all the details, but I don't think you were ecstatic with the results.

It's fucking unpossible. You have to be Penske. Or Hank. Or I'm losing all fucking faith in humanity.

There is no way any person alive with five brains cells to rub together would get an online law degree. You might as well get a PhD in Paranormal Research. From a university in Transdniestria.

As a member of the bar, I've been told to encourage Ms. PPNYC in her non-ABA-accredited endeavors.

The California Bar looks forward to your multiple entrance fees when you try several times to pass the bar exam out here. If at first you don't succeed, Ms. PPNYC, try, try again.

They already got me for registering. then fylse fee. then bar fee and as you've indicated if I'm retarded dense dumb over and over. and over. for bar.

Here I'd think you'd be all for on line. it is the next frontier to get law out there to the masses. it isn't that I think it is harvard. to use to move within an organization into management.

I have not indicated that you are dense or dumb. I have indicated that the reason for the low pass rate in California is people trying to pass from the unaccredited schools. You may have said things here or elsewhere to indicate that you are dense or dumb, but that was not my point. Maybe you are not accustomed to the idea of having a point so you missed mine.

agreed. point taken. they I believe use this test FYLSE to weed out people even at my school. we'll see. I will be taking a prep for the baby bar and if I fail...even that you can attempt to do again. the quizzes are to prep you on the baby bar. it's actually very interesting. contracts has same texts and similar syllabus as Fordham. also cali bar is balls assed hard. isn't it multiple days?

This is from my friend

"online schools are actually harder than their brick-and-mortar counterparts, because of the negative perception of "online".

a friend of mine runs the admissions program at Phoenix. they do master's degrees for people coming out of ivy league schools and entering the workforce very regularly. her entrance exams and requirements for 4-year degree programs are more stringent and the course work is heavier than most liberal arts colleges"

Can someone lasso this to the ground also?

It's hard to know, but I think there are contentions in here that (1) law should be gotten out there to the masses, and (2) a benefit of an online law degree is the enablement of upward mobility within a meritocratic organization. If these interpretations are accurate, I think either contention will cause Sebby to have a coronary.

Law has hidden from the masses - indeed, tantalized and cruelly eluded them like a Loch Ness Monster - for decades. How often have you been compelled to handle pro bono work simply because a member of the masses who thought he'd found the law realized too late it had once again escaped him?

You have to be the dumbest person in the history of the world. I assume you make decent money as a secretary. You are pissing it all away with this online degree. It will be useless for many reasons. As bnb pointed out, unless you plan on moving to Cali, you won't be practicing law. An unaccredited, online law degree (even if your friend from Phoenix University* says it's totally hard) will not enable you to move up in any organization. Whatever "school" you signed up for is bleeding you of the money you're probably building up on your credit card. It won't impress anyone (least of all the people here). You should quit right now, save your money and use the time you have been spending studying for your law quizzes (ha!) working out.

If I hadn't met you, I would not believe you could be a real person. I didn't think people as stupid as you existed. You are like a retarded unicorn.
