DAVID: That was amazing! Boy, those Nazis were pretty HOFF-ul. Especially the Luft-HOFF-a! Love what you can do with the sand! Keep at it!

He wouldn't say it was amazing. He'd say it was "HOFF-tastic."

Yes, I am a reality show geek and watch that one too.

What is he, a smurf? I've never seen that show. I watch a lot of trash, but somehow that piece of crap escaped my dvr.

What song has a line that is "Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky"?

I can't remember and this seems like a good place to ask. If there's a lyrics page, I'm unaware of it.

We (my HOA) has learned that the outside of our building is being used on a TV show. Years ago we were paid $1,000 by another show to film and use it. Did/do we have some right to be paid? Or is it fair game because it is visible from the street?

I have no idea, but you might as well ask for $1,000 on the basis of the other precedent, and hope they just pay it instead of incurring the costs of figuring out the answer, etc.

Don't feel bad, I couldn't pull that one out of my head and I don't have the excuse of a traumatic brain injury.

If it's legal to view from the vantage point, it's legal to film from the vantage point. Unless they needed to trespass to set up the shot, the façade of your building does not have a right to privacy or not to have its likeness appropriated for commercial purposes, as these are personal rights.

Kudos on having a photogenic pad, though.

ETA there are stories of owners on particularly iconic streets in LA going outside and turning on the lawn sprinklers when they saw a camera crew. According to legend, a PA would carry a roll of Benjamins for the "favor" of turning them off for the day, and also not standing on the sidewalk thanks very much, etc. If you were in the habit of hanging stained sheets out your window, maybe you could have wet your beak a little, yes?

It apparently caused it. Google the term. It is not a cause of annoyingness.
