It focuses the mind, and makes me a little less ornery, which is good because I've been told that I can come off a little mean at trial. Although, the trial is in New Yawk and I'm assuming the jury pool isn't quite as wussy as I'm used to.

Thank you for sourcing that for me.

Does anyone pay attention to the "Skills" listed under LinkedIn profiles? The affirmations from connections, while nice to receive, seem objectively useless.

Among all the people who have called to retain me after seeing my linkedin profile, not one has ever mentioned these.

But you can make up your own skills:
  • lightsaber battles
  • Insufferably talking about spoken word short story events
  • Reliving past glory
  • Stalking seemingly uninterested girls

And then your friends can endorse you for them.

I keep getting affirmed for areas of the law I really don't practice, which I know is just a request for some log-rolling back. Come to think of it, no one ever seems to affirm me for what I do do.

I have tried to endorse you for "storytelling (aka, making shit up)" but it won't let me.
