I was unclear. The friend who has it has three kids. Living in the McMansion, she also has the Mutiple-Ovens thingie. (She says it's the New Working Woman's substitute for Multiple Orgasms.) She finds that it is just . . . not the right size. It's too small to use for pizzas, or for the quantities of things that she would heat up for a snack for everybody, but bigger than she would choose for heating up something for her, or even her and hubby.

I guess the best explanation I can think of is, she has it, and usually just chooses not to use it. That has to count for something.

Off the top of my head, here's how I rate the different versions of the Big 3 in terms of game-excitement.

Big Brother 3 (Lisa beats Jason)
Survivor 6 (yet to be determined)
Amazing Race 3 (Flo & Zack, the impossible victory)
Amazing Race 2 (Chris and Alex pass Will & whats-her-name in the final sprint)
Survivor 1 (Richard beats Kelly)
Survivor 5 (Brian beats Clay -- some potentially exciting moments once it reached the final 5, with Ted and Helen and Jan and whatnot, but ultimately a fizzle)
Survivor 4 (Vecepia beats who? Kathy came third and should have won, I remember that)
Big Brother 2 (Will beats Nicole through no real strategy other than being a bastard)
Survivor 2 (Tina beats Colby, ho hum)
Amazing Race 1 (Rob and Brennan easily beat the field)
Survivor 3 (Ethan and Lex and yawn)
Big Brother 1 (Eddie beats Josh & Curtis, as if there was any doubt)
If you think that by threatening me you can get me to do what you want... Well, that's where you're right. But - and I am only saying this because I care - there are a lot of decaffeinated brands on the market that are just as tasty as the real thing.

Here's a link to the anon posting information: http://www.lawtalkers.com/forums/sho...=&threadid=156

It should not be used to conceal embarrassing information like this:

I used to watch AMC during the Tad and Jenny days, I watched Santa Barbara (because it came on in the morning, so mom and I would watch), and I watched Y&R because Meg Ryan was on and she was really good.

I watch Passions from time to time now when I am working at the house because it's funny and the storylines are resolved fast enough that you don't need 15 years of backstory to know why two people are fighting. And there are witches.

I like Ed. I like his movies. Maybe I'm an idiot, or maybe I'm blinded by the shared ethnic heritage, or maybe I just think that Jennifer Anniston is hot.
I remember liking The Brothers McMullen. It was the second or third date of what became a long-term relationship. Of course, since I share the same ethnic heritage as Not Bob and Ed Burns, I might have misjudged the film's quality. I do remember that my then-GF was dismayed at the picture's portrayal of Irish Catholic guilt. There was some conversation along the lines of, "You're not really that fucked up, are you?"

Of course, Ed Burns has made a lot of crappy movies...and he put Maxine Bahns into some of them. Ed Burns can still redeem himself if Heather Graham follows the same pattern as Maxine Bahns...that is, falling into the female lead in a series of Skinemax movies. The fact that Heather Graham can actually act poses a problem, but the fact that Heather Graham is as dumb as a (shapely) box of hammers might solve that problem.

FWIW, some critics have liked Confidence and even the bad reviews seem to peg the film as a breezy, stylish caper film. There are worse things to watch.

The only certain truth is that Jennifer Aniston is hot enough to make most men lose their judgment.

Why is it that people of a certain political bent have to share the contents of their every e-mail, diary writing, and randomly-generated-and-written-down thought as a means of persuasion? Is quantity that much more important than quality? Is this the written equivalent of shouting someone else down?

I was speculating about the utility of uvular piercings.

I would never question the utility of blowjobs. That's just wrong.

A friend explained the benefits of the p.a. over dinner in West Hollywood. The bottom claimed to like the p.a. quite a bit but complained that when em's bf masturbated, he had to take it out (the ring). So, like the uvular piercing, the utility seems to be measured in terms of pleasing one's partner.

Someone tells me that Jill Foster Abbott was adopted and that her birth mother is a lush - my prediction is that Jill's birth mother is somehow related to Katherine Chancellor - but that's just my theory.

The problem is that the story is so grim and serious that there are no jokes. Part of the charm of the show is that the Scoobies can lead this somewhat normal life in between the death and destruction, and there was always this tongue-in-cheek humor surrounding everything. I can't think of a moment in the last 4 or 5 episides where it would have been approriate for Buffy to even smile, let alone kid around.

I'm still freaked out about Xander.

I think the problem is that there's not enough Anya lately. There's never been enough Anya. There's no such thing as too much Anya. Especially since I heard her on the Stern show talking about how much she likes anal. But maybe that was an act.

I have found buffy not to be terribly engaging for some time now.

I watched Angel however for

SPOILERS

The episode when Willow visited and also when Faith was on. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. And I have been watching it since. I have very much enjoyed the whole Jasmine story line, it has been quite interesting. Makes me wish I had been watching it all along cause I don't quite understand all the dynamics.

For example the Giles like guy, is that Wesley? Had to cut the head off someone from the team who had died and clearly they had some past and the scene was very interesting as he relived it, but I don't know exactly what it was so it was confusing.

Buffy just hasn't been fun for quite, it seems to have lost its soul somehow.
