Well, you know me. If there isnt an interesting discussion going on, and I dont find hummers compelling (unless I am giving one or watching one on porn, natch Lester) I gotta go fishing for some entertainment. Or board improvement. And some folks have dumped some lameass re lines today. Which I appreciate. And we learned about the ignore sig lines option. I think I did good today, old timer.

I recently saw a baseball hat that said "Old Guys Rule". Had you come for Taxapalooza, I would have bought it for ya.

Funny you should say that, since almost every single Hummer around here is owned by either the uber-rich liberal-dem East Hampton-types or the hip-hop [doubt they vote GOP] set.

How Penske can live out there with all you crunchy granolas is beyond me.

Not here. Actually, here I think the H2s are owned by relatively young men obsessed with self-gratification. I doubt they take the time to vote.

Remind me to never get into a used Hummer without cleaning the seats.

H2, dear, H2. Hummers are only used by the military in my happy world of denial, remember?

You may want to clean the floors etc. too, some of those guys seem to stumble out seeming less than sober so their friends are probably barfing in the back.

I'm going to say this one last time, no way Penske lives anywhere near Seattle. He probably picked Seattle because it's the city the all the shows pick when someone moves away (leaves the show) because it's soo far away from Genoa City or wherever that you know you'll never see those people again. He's way to insane for Seattle - maybe Idaho is where he really is...the separatists all live there.

Hummers that don't involve kneeling

[Note to Paigow, please skip on by this post. More boring Hummer (not the fun kind) talk.]

This discussion reminds me of a Dallas Business Journal article that I read pre-H2 release. It was discussing Hummers (the $100k variety) and the poseurs who drive them, in light of the upcoming H2 relase. The main person dicussed in the article was an 18 year old kid whose mom lives in Plano and dad lives in California. This kid (herein, the "Brat") had a 911 or equivalent Porsche that he totalled one time on a visit out to see dad. Mom proceeded to buy Brat a Hummer because she just felt he would be safer in it (no mention of how the rest of the cars on the road would fare). Brat loves the Hummer because his friends think it is cool.

Who says Dallas is superficial?

First, they came for the signature lines, and we didn't do anything. Then, they came for those little lines under the avatars, whatever you call them, and we didn't do anything. Then, they came for the avatars, and you know how little we did.

Finally, they came for our obscenities, and we became Infirmation.

Slave, Thurgreed, you're not getting my signature line.
Yeah. Slave and I are going to take away your ability to curse. Talk about newbies. Damn.

As for your (and PLF's) signature line, thanks to GWNC (who has lost all hand) I took it and neither one of you know it. It's gone.

No true metrosexual could ever live in such a rain forest. The damage to hair alone would be crippling.

There is something just, well, not right about the whole concept of a "used hummer." I'm not even sure how that would work.

Yeah, but the humidity is good for the skin. There are trade offs.

I forgot to list you, my beloved Ollie, as the owner of the greatest re line ever. If your wife ever decides to have a threeway, you know where to reach me.

I do indeed know you, Darlin', and don't count me out yet, I'll be back next year.

But you didn't give me any feedback on my new (temporary) sig line.

That's right folks, you better behave or I'll give TM admin powers, and then what? THEN WHAT???

You won't just have to worry about your signature lines then, oh no.
