A couple of months ago I read about a guy in L.A. who was grievously mauled by escaped chimps. His nose, fingers and an eye were chewed off, and his nutsack and foot were literally ripped from his body. He's still comatose. His future holds either a morning in which he wakes up to discover he will remain maimed for the rest of his life, or no morning at all. Up to today, this poor fellow was the most piteous wretch I'd ever encountered on the Internet. Regards!

Fuck you Gatti, you're still getting royalties. It was an attack by chimps at a facility he was visiting--to give a birthday cake to an ex-pet chimp of his. The other chimps got jealous (we have highly developed notions of fairness and jealousy), and taught that guy the same lesson we all learned in elementary school: Don't bring treats unless you have enough for everyone.
