A 'lil slow for my tastes.

BUT, they are pressing bills out there awfully fast, in very large amounts. Lots of jobs and business opps. I think Google just moved a slew of operations there.

R/E out there is a wild crapshoot. Musical chairs. It will come falling down for the cats building high end shit, as I think the sprawl is as big as it'll get. But comm development and cheap middle class housing is going to be a cash machine for a long time.

Broken Arrow is a Tulsa suburb, i believe. Broken Bow is in the SE corner, in the Ark-La-Tex. Bow Legs is central.

My ex-Aunt said the best actress breasts in the 80s were Jaqualine Bisset- she had a small part in Class and saw them IRL. but I never saw them.

4 up, 9 down - no real comment needed. Then again, I really liked Cincy. I am going to refrain from betting on Bush's State of the Union speech:

In President George W Bush's 2006 State of the Union address, how many times will the President say the words: Patriot Act?

0-2 times 2/1
3-5 times 3/2
6-9 times 3/1
10 or more times 6/1

In President George W Bush's 2006 State of the Union address, how many times will the President say the word: Evil?

0-2 times 1/1
3-5 times 3/2
6-9 times 7/2
10 or more times 7/1

How many standing ovations will President W. Bush receive during his State of the Union Address?

0-15 9/2
16-30 4/1
31-40 3/1
41-50 5/2
51-60 3/1
61-70 6/1
70 or more standing ovations 8/1

So, the sophisticates on my desk are up to their usual tricks. Today's antics included the following:

There's one guy (call him Ralph) who is a bit homophobic. [Unrelated editorial commentary: I think he tries not to be, but so far, with limited success.] Earlier this week, there was discussion about a male vocal performer, and I inquired as to whether anyone was a fan of this guy (who is -- as far as I know -- NotGay). Ralph chimes in with, "I think Jim likes him -- in a Brokeback Mountain kind of way...". Hilarity ensues with various insinuations using the code phrase "Brokeback Mountain".

So, just now, some of the younger jokers decide to send Ralph an e-mail inserting an image from Google, which (and I wish I were high-tech enough to know how to do this) automatically became the screensaver picture upon Ralph's opening the e-mail.

The image (which comes up on huge computer screens -- 3 across) was this lovely shot. (N[exactly]SFW)

I'm going to miss this place when I get shitcanned.

I question whether the Brokeback Mountain jokes = "hilarity". But I will definitely be wanting the code for the automatic screensaver. (That picture is perfect too. So frolicky!)

On another note, I'm going to a hypnotherapist on Friday. Just for kicks. I hope that she doesn't die while I'm under (a la Office Space). On the other hand, that could be kind of fun. Keep an eye out for zombie postings from me on Friday afternoon.

Well, who doesn't? But watch out! You never know where the spirited slapping will lead. It's the age-old story -- it starts with an innocuous (and spirited) slapping, then before you know it, you're sending your entire address book pictures of you and your most beloved corncob.
