In other words, style supercedes substance. Attention to detail is important, but unfortunately it often leads to mental myopia.

Duh. This is the Fashion Board. If you want substance, go to Politics, er, uh . . . the Gadgets Board. Surely there's something of substance there.

President of the Dorks?

Sorry about that...about calling you a dork, that is, not about you being the President of the Dorks. I'm sure you're a very good President.
I thought the official title was King Dork.

Or perhaps I'm just remembering a NewsRadio episode.

Continuing saga of the construction worker

So Hank, Oscar caught me right before I was leaving for a party on Friday night and asked me if, since we were friends, he could stop by from time to time once the construction was done. I expressed joy that there's a possibility that construction may be done at some point. Oscar was persistant though, and I think he suspects I have other suitors, especially given the way I was dressed on Friday night. I ultimately told him that I don't know him well enough yet and we still have few weeks of curb and sidewalk building to go.

Dave:"Bill, these people are insane."
Bill:"Oh really? Then why did they elect me Prime Minister of Ward 15 this morning?"

Quick question. If RT becomes unable to perform her duties, what is the chain of sucession?

Don't worry, you're still 1736th in line.

I used hardwood charcoal to grill 1.5 inch thick ribeyes this weekend. This morning, I made hash out of a half a steak and baked potato that were left over.

I had a hot dog at the football game. I don't really want to think about how it was cooked, but it was good.

I grilled a similar ribeye. It's like we're drinking from the same fountain of good taste and trendiness.

I forgot to have dinner both Friday and Saturday nights b/c of the drinking. I hate the drinking.

It's easy. Just dice the steak and potato into about 1/2 inch cubes, then fry them up in a nonstick skillet with some salt and pepper and a dash of worcestershire sauce.

OTOH, if this was a stoopid druggie pun, then it's still easy. Take an extra xanax, put some vodka in your V-8, follow the above directions, and pretend it's "hash" dude.
