Shapey was raised in more or less the south and is polite and gentlemanly. He probably still gets all screwed up on elevators in TCOTU because he tries to make way for women when it's just a cutthroat shoving match. So I think you can rest assured that whatever he thinks, and whatever he may say to various people with whom he is closeish friends, he will neither tell you to your face nor describe on the board the ways in which you fail to be attractive.
