A/K/A Senator Pothole in part for all of the construction-related pork he brought back to New York. Heck, even Hillary said nice things about his service to New York.

My father, a union ironworker and lifelong Democrat (we had one of those brass busts of JFK and RFK looking meditatively off into the distance in a place of honor in the living room) loved the Republican governor of the Ancestral Homeland in my youth because of the massive state road construction projects he pushed through.
