I thought there would be something on the internet about this but either my search terms were lousy or Google didn't pick anything up.
Anyone know what I can do about having turned the flame on high under a saucepan, thinking it was full of water, and then realizing when I returned 5 min later that there wasn't actually any water in it, and it's kind of partially blackened inside?

It's all-clad stainless MC2 or whatever. So the inside is shiny. Or, was.
