I posit that my fear of snakes is greater than that of Gov. Goodhair, and yet I do not run with a gun, even when I run in places where snakes might be.

I would have bought a wild pig argument, though. Having a gun around in places where those suckers have been known to be isn't a terrible idea. Though you better be an excellent shot, and hope you get mama first.
