Attractive women are used to being checked out. And practically minded attractive women probably figure, "What can I do about it? ...Some slob's getting his jollies checking my figure out in an x-ray machine. And perhaps some lesbian's getting a quick cheap thrill wanding me. Whatever..."

There have been a few assaults, and that is deplorable. But we're talking an airport here. None of the victims were in grave fear of imminent harm in an area that crowded, during a process that quick.

My suspicion is half of the people getting their panties in a bunch about this shit are pain in the ass types who bitch about everything (helicopter parent-types, whiners, self-righteous sorts). The other half are crazy libertarians seizing on the issue to whine about "govt intrusion."

I view the govt as an enemy in many things, but in this? Fuck no. I don't give a damn if some TSA clerk gets an x-ray of my junk or feels up my wife's thigh for a quick thrill. You'll never see the person again. Put your self-important overdeveloped sense of personal dignity aside and move it along. Some of us have tight connecting flights to make.
