You've got it all wrong there, sir. The rot lies with the culture of violence, and the greed turning this country into a new Gotham of haves and have nots. (Seriously, the herculean efforts of several opinion writers to somehow link the movie to the current state of America culture, and suggest its bleak themes have something to do with a nut shooting people during it, are amazing. Reminds me why I never went to journalism school.)
