In my years of being a sympathetic ear for many girlfriends, offering sage advice on all from lost loves, to whether or not kids are a good idea, to simply "getting the romance back," I have come to the conclusion some women simply aren't comfortable talking openly about sex. It's a tragic trap of neuroses and residual hang-ups from patriarchal rearing for so many.
