My brother backs up to the cloud, but I'm not convinced that the company he's using will be around in five years, so I haven't gone that route.
 
eta: I just switched from a PC to a Mac at work, but I'm using VMware Fusion, which lets me run a Windows desktop on my Mac.  So far that seems to work very well.
