Good idea to treat this as a potential spoiler. Normally, anybody who cares knows within hours anyway. But in this case, by the time he regains consciousness this evening and stumbles through the piles of empty cider bottles, half-eaten pasties, and vomit, he will have forgotten the events of Wednesday in their entirety, and will get to turn on the Tivo and relive the drama and joy (however fleeting it will prove to be) again.
