Rodman is my favorite player ever. Before Dennis got his sea legs Laimbeer won the rebounding title. As Dennis came on he took too many boards for Laimbeer to repeat.
The second championship year they had a bet to see who would get the most. I remember a game in February against some beat up team that the Pistons were clearly going to beat. At one point there was a defense board, and Laimbeer and Dennis were leaping and tapping and fighting each other to get it. The other team went back up court, the other Pistons did too. It was just the two of them fighting for the stat.
The other team must have thought them huge assholes.
