Re: Towards A Virtual Williamsburg!

a book rec, but general interest. I do not read non-fiction, but picked up The Revolution Was Televised. I'm just into it, but understand the premise is Sopranos changed TV drama and led to some wonderful shows. I'm through the Sopranos Chapter, and it was great. I don't want to do spoilers, but his (TV critic Alan Sepinwall) take on the last scene is correct.

I'll not read all 12 chapters as some shows I never watched (Buffy (Hi RT!), Battlestar, Friday Nights Lights and 24), but if you liked those shows you will probably like those chapters. There are chapters to come on the Wire (with surprises, again no spoiler now), Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Deadwood. I have to say, Deadwood was okay, but 6 Feet Under was a much better show- no love for 6 Feet in the book.
