 Or, as I tell my kids, I have failed to give them one very important thing in this life: poverty. And they will have to overcome that problem with their upbringing.
 |  For reasons that aren't relevant, I have had opportunity to see this in action. I have seen someone buy a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter with money they got collecting cans go home and share half of that bread and peanut butter with a neighbor who had no food or money. Let's say it has changed my notions of generosity and caring.
