I definitely think Nixon should get some credit for Roxy's Country Life. I'd give him credit for all of Woodstock in a way.
Carter gets credit for the heyday of CBGBs. That was on his watch. We're talking Patti Smith here. The Stilettos. Joan Jett. The Shirts. He was also in the big house for the birth of Rap. Grandmaster Flash. Sugarhill Gang. Gil Scott Heron.
Carter was the man.
