My daughter has recently gone vegan for environmental reasons. And let me tell you, this is not easy for her. But the way she sees it, too many of the people running this world are Narrow Pricks of Self Interest, far more interested in maximizing their returns from real estate deals than taking even the most basic steps (other than the occasional brain-dead cock-juggling lip-service bloviation) to prevent our leaders from gutting environmental protections.
In full disclosure, I continue to consume non-plant-based foods.
