A straight flush beats four of a kind. A royal flush is just the highest straight flush, it is not in a separate category. In a game without wilds, like standard Hold em, a straight flush is the highest hand possible. I guess with a wild, five of a kind is the highest, but I'm not even sure about that. Slave? Str8?
