 | Texas is Texas, not the South. The South should consider itself privileged to be associated with Texas.

Cause it appears she does.

 | Are you crazy? We're just out of the official three days prayer for rain, and no luck south of Dallas thus far.

		| NOW, THEREFORE, I, RICK PERRY, Governor of Texas, under the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Statutes of the State of Texas, do hereby proclaim the three-day period from Friday, April 22, 2011, to Sunday, April 24, 2011, as Days of Prayer for Rain in the State of Texas. I urge Texans of all faiths and traditions to offer prayers on that day for the healing of our land, the rebuilding of our communities and the restoration of our normal and robust way of life. | Usually I'm first to make fun of this sort of thing, but this is the worst drought since 1864*, so I added my own plea to the heavens. My guess is that some idiots weren't specific enough in their entreaty to the allmighty (one word or two?)and they ended up sending tornadoes to Mississippi and Alabama instead.

*My mother was impressed that they kept track of this sort of thing during the Civil War. I pointed out that most people in Texas probably cared more about the rain than the war.

I think the Almighty is one word with a single "l". You'd think she'd have better spelling.

Nice tunes.

I think the problem may be Perry should have faced Mecca when praying.

I haven't seen a storm since November. I'm not the one she's pissed off at via storm.

There are a few that live under the house at the ranch. They're really cute, and only come out at night.
