Yes, initially, three or four years ago. Notwithstanding some exceptions over at Infirm, I have never had a sock last here for more than a month. She's out with a half dozen people here. It should be obvious by now, unless you want to ignore all the signs.

The general statement seems pretty insipid if you were to compare the caloric needs of a fit athlete with a similarly sized couch potato. One has a much higher metabolism, and will need more calories. Nothing in the article suggests they adjusted for that either.
