I'm not sure it's an interesting theory. A statement (probably not interesting other than to Atticus) would be "I find asian women, on the whole, to be more attractive than white women." Which is simply an aesthetic judgment.

An interesting theory would be "regardless of how attractive you find asian women to be, I think there is less variation in the attractiveness of asian women than among white women. In other words, the distribution is compressed into the median. Put differently, there are no dogs among them, but also none that are smokin' hot."

And, on that theory, I think, like most theories developed while talking off the spins, would be discredited shortly after graduation, if not freshman year.

Seriously, what help is there to be had? If what you are trying to accomplish is weight loss and cardiovascular health, the only thing that really matters is that you do it. Do it more (meaning cover more ground, even if you have to slow down) if you want more benefit.

Questions: Does it make any sense to go to a doctor now or is it too late to do any good? Is there something I can do to strengthen my ankle so it gets better?

Doctor can't do anything except make sure it's not broken. Tape it up and stay off it.

It takes for fucking ever to get over. I sprained mine bad when I was 12 and it still hurts.

Well, there's also calorie intake reduction in that equation too. Reducing portion sizes helps tremendously.

And putting that whole package together of increasing activity level while decreasing calorie intake and pretty much overhauling your whole life is really fucking harder than it sounds.

*sniff* The little Thai restaurant on Westheimer next to the Erotic Caberet closed down a few months ago. Their green curry was awesome. It was replaced by a pale imitation, and now I'm back to getting my green curry fix at the much less convenient Thai Spice in the Village.
