So what if some do? That's way down the list of issues.

for the lurkers, on the last board one capped out at 62,000 posts. Your count would get no higher. A sock named bilmore baggins asked the powers to set his post count to that number because the actual total was distracting to him. Once I learned this I did the same. my post count is high, maybe the highest, but not that high.

Is that why you watched the video -- for thrills? It's not why I watched it.

Not all people, but some people. Wasn't casting aspersions on you or anyone else here.

As soon as they sense that you are pissed off or haven't acted on an order quickly enough, they are about 3 or 4 words from initiating violence.

People who desire to have the immediate control of others or are insecure about the level of respect they'd otherwise command, categories into which many local cops fall, are inherently dangerous. Not quite mentally ill, but close. Giving these people guns only serves to prove the old adage, "Without the badge, many cops would probably be the criminals they're chasing."
It's the same problem we face with lousy teachers. The job doesn't pay enough to attract exclusively smart people of the caliber we need.
I think I've used this example before, but compare state police and local cops. State cops are better trained, typically have advanced degrees, and are paid often twice what a local cop makes. Consequently, you don't see them committing these murders.
Of course, some of that accrues from the fact that they don't spend as much time in neighborhoods as local cops do. But that doesn't fully explain the huge disparity in violent altercations. The major part of it remains - state police academies tend to attract a far superior quality of person than the local police force. They are the example the local forces should follow. And it's not too expensive to do so. Instead of having four or five lousy cops in local forces, train one or two good cops using state police guidelines and techniques. Emphasize quality and efficiency over quantity.
Oh, and if the money issue is still a problem, maybe stop using the cash you civilly forfeit from people pulled over for driving while black to buy tanks, Humvees, and body armor, and instead use it to properly train your fucking personnel.

Yeah, but there are a lot of people who aggressive, overly armed local cops. Perhaps most disappointingly, Wall Street has proven immensely fond of having a brute squad to put the beat down on the hippies and the blacks.

I think we should define those receiving public assistance to include the elected officials who vote for bills like these. Better yet, apply these restrictions to
political funds.

The truly sick part is that so many Democrats embrace him because he is so much safer and less crazy than any alternative.

At least this approach is consistent with his executive order that all Bibles used in the Kansas school system have the parables of the prodigal son and the fishes and loaves redacted.

Hey, trying to help kill the poor is hard work. They need a release.
