This is great. Perhaps if you invite the entire Fb we can come togheter and get you guys that fabulous enormous tv set you have dreamed of. Or, in reality, probalby just the Legally Blonde Boxed Set, But it will have meaning.

Did you say it was May 6?
 | She's not jewish, and I actually don't like giant TVs.

Wow, I got busted actually doing work, but yeah - if they're decent tickets, figure at least $100/seat, probably more, 4 seats, 8 games. Do the time.

Nothing's complicated after you've done it once. This isn't heart surgery. Its fucking paper. People just bloviate about how fifficult it is to justify the billing rates. You're a fucking scrivener - I'm a fucking mouthpiece. We're just playing roles for cash. get over yourself.
 | Hell, Racer, I understand. I've been running up remarkable bar tabs lately taking mental holidays from this town. You are not alone. There's a strong stench of slow long decline wafting up from the streets around this town... Everybody said when Ed got the Governorship, this town would come back. I hear he's doing his best to play Santa, but he's got no gifts in his bag (Elves' union went on strike - wants a better workers' comp package). Same old govt contracts passing from hand to hand. Its like Japan... state sponsored corp welfare... just enough to keep the lights on... But hey, at least the feds are keeping busy chasing the mayor's office in circles over some contract shenanigans. Its like Watergate, only uninteresting.

 TV-Turnoff Week
That's the idea behind TV-Turnoff Week, which for the 11th year is inviting everyone to "Turn off TV, turn on life." From Monday (April 25) through May 1, you can join as many as eight million other viewers in pulling the plug on TV, the Internet and video games.

"We want to encourage people, especially parents of young children, to control and limit screen time in the home," says Frank Vespe, executive director of the nonprofit Washington, D.C.-based TV-Turnoff Network.

Kaiser Family Foundation survey released in March found third-graders through 12th-graders devoted, on average, nearly six and a half hours per day to TV and videos, music, video games and computers.

I'm sure that for adults, it's so much more. At least the computer category. They kind of picked a shitty week for it though, how are we going to find out if Scott or tracheotomy finally get the boot on AI if we turn off the TV? NBA playoffs? What were they thinking?

To be honest, I don't think it would bother me that much. We'd have to have a talk about how emotionally invested she was and I would lose some trust (in that I might be more likely to think she would cheat with a man in the future). But I could live with that.

 TM
 | Same, but I don't think she would feel that way. Especially with her being like pregnant and stuff.

Which is why my post to BNB earlier tonight was a joke. But not really. Call me BNB. Seriously.

Of course, that was a joke too.

				iPod ruminations

So I'm almost done uploading A-through-CA in my CD collection.
 1. Who the hell is "Calhoun," and why do I have their CD?

 2. The soundtrack to Bones? What was I thinking?

 3. Almost 10% of my songs on my iPod at this point are from Belle & Sebastian. Could I be more of a gay?

 4. Two Beatnuts CDs is probably two too many. Still there was a time where they seemed like they were going to be huge. Conversly, two Air CDs is not enough.

 5. What the fuck is African Head Charge, and why do I have their CD? (Actually I know the answer to this, some hippie chick I nailed in SF gave it to me, the summer I took the bar there)

 6. When I was in high school, I thought "As Nasty As They Wanna Be" was the best album of all time. I think I might still have that belief.

 7. Ash is a terrible terrible band. That's $0.99 I'll never get back.

 8. Broken Social Scene's best songs are those with Leslie Feist singing. Speaking of which, Feist's "Let It Die" is the torch song of the year, and maybe of the decade. Joss Stone can suck it.

 "The saddest part
 Of a broken heart
 Isn't the ending
 So much as the start."
