Am I using the reply to all feature inappropriately?

Yes. Who the fuck wants to receive extra bullshit when you can create your own subgroup in like 18 seconds?

If it means anything, this lawyer's law school was a hundred places lower than mine.

As long as that response was included in the reply to all, yes.
And we stopped caring about what law school someone went to years ago. How big is his practice?

Thurgreed is Not Correct. (Unless the complainer can fire you, cut your pay, or change your office/secretary/parking space, in which case you say "sorry about that, Maria. What did you think of the Tegan and Sara show?")
How tough is it to click delete? Besides, real legal BSDs like Hank and I have their emails printed, and our secretaries know not to give us any that are Not Essential.

Once your brain thinks that way, you go from going out of your way to throw your shit on the ground instead of putting it in a hand that is 3 inches away from you, to kicking a fucking ball boy for doing something stupid.

why were people saying he was a late teen semi pro? "ball boy" may be confusing here, if the kid is basically a minor leaguer for the home team, yes?

your response, or response s? If just the one, maybe okay, but if you expect continuing email you should create a list.
When I was at big law, at 4:30 a few times a week we would get "anyone want to buy my Red wings tickets for tonight for $60?" and the email would go to firm all. I used to think the firm would be better off just buying the tickets: it probably cost a few thousand in lawyer billable time for them to read the stupid ad.
You should break everything into $$$, you know that.

2. At my firm we never treat an established attorney differently if their law school is somehow below mine. Of course, we only hire grads from the University as new associates.

One. And it wasn't for Red Wings tickets because I would never reply all to that because a skinnier guy (though this guy is fatter and slower) could beat me to the corner office where the tickets are.

Made to emphasize the point that we are talking about a pretty dumb person.
Come to think of it, em may not know how to use the delete button.

probably late enough to be Least Helpful, but just rent a car. Not easier from Boston. You could swing by for some grub if you like, but it's a 50 mile, 90 minute (yes, really) drive from East Hartford. I have several tennis tournaments over that way and drive there not infrequently.
