But the Once-lers who are weak or old, they need to stay home, they do. They've made their money (most), and and its time to give the kids their due. So the strong and young can go out, and go out they should and they must. For unless they do so and soon, the entire village goes bust!
For a brief trip away sits the Grinch, atop a mountain of money, not a pinch. And he roots for fear in the village, which allows him to eventually pillage. And while the scared and frozen bleat, he shall buy up every home and every street.

I’d be more receptive to this Seussian parable if it were not coming from the guy who confidently predicted a maximum death toll of a couple thousand, that the severity would at worst be like a mild flu for all but those most vulnerable, and that we can probably cure it by injecting household disinfectants. Wait, was that last one you or the other guy who is 100% wrong about everything all of the time? Whatevs, I think you’re picking up what I’m laying down here.

The daintiest flower in Whoville had lost his powers of wit.
“I’m literal, literal, literal! Everything’s gone to shit!”
The Mayor was deeply troubled. “He’s bitter from the ground up!”
But the Grinch as always knew best - better than all the rest.
“Spray that damned weed with Roundup!”

You’re oft in error, but ne’er in doubt
And logic you remain without
You think your wisdom’s clear as glass
But you speak only from your ass
And you believe we won’t recall
The stench your words bring to us all
But some things one cannot unsmell
A soulless cocktail bash in hell

Never mind, what's the point?

I’ll respond in earnest or maybe in irony or absurdity or probably all three when sober. For now: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ti4DisTlfDY

My son, who is working in a grocery now, got admitted to law school, his stretch school, today. And pretty much a full ride. So I am LESS BROKE now. I was wondering if LS applications would be way down, or way up. Like, everyone graduating undergrad who had their job offers pulled back, applies out of desperation? Or people thinking about school realize they won't be able to afford it?
Turns out it is the later. He applied and 2 days later (today) got admitted.

She responded to my comment about her home workouts, which she youtubes. I have had a hard time finding dumbells. She recommends things around the house or bodyweight. Turns out those 22 year old Torts and Contracts hornbooks had some redeeming value.
I am savoring every minute of BSG, which is turning out to be one of my favorite shows. Starbuck is an all-time great character, well-done.
If she is in the mandalorian I would lose my shit.
