I am a huge fan of accupuncture in particular, but, as to the trauma stuff that has gone on in this town this week, I would just say, BAHSTEN RAWKS!

But your original question was what hemisphere you'd rather get trauma care in, and I have to say, if the choice in this Hemisphere was in rural Mississippi and in the other hemisphere was a medical center in Shanghai, I choose Shanghai.
 | My family was in a car crash in Beijing, and inches away from it being really fucking serious. I have no idea what a trauma center looks like in China, but as we sat sucking wind after not all being maimed horribly, I did have visions of being in a very bad place. I think my bias was based upon the fact that food was really not safe to eat from most restaurants, and that was true in Shanghai too. Shanghai is very modern and pretty in many ways, but I think caring for people and their comfort is pretty far down the list of priorities. For all of China's success, never forget that.

And I guess it's just my biases, I'll never know for sure. But, remember, if you get hurt badly in Yazoo City they can put you on a medi-vac chopper to Jackson (but ask for Memphis- WTTW). What gets hurt in Shanghai stays in Shanghai.

Scam has been going on for years.

Did you see whether the car that hit you had government plates? Did you eat in Communist Party restaurants? |

I don't usually respond to the same post twice, but people who live there are fine with the food as they have built up tolerances. It's just us that are fucked when there. And if all trauma victims die it's still a small enough pool to not quell overpopulation.
