Because there are a lot of good restaurants here, and because we're too busy fucking.

As part of a shootout. That's why at the end of the clip the guy for the other team is setting up.
Hank -- it's used internationally too, I think before the NHL adopted it.

What a relief! Now I don't need to throw out the case I bought.
Thanks, man.

Except you'll have to go to Mad Max for parts.

If you're talking American only, and want something along the lines of your Taurus, I'd suggest:
1) Pontiac G8 (especially the GXP): 415 HP and a 6 speed manual in a family-sized car.
2) Cadillac CTS: 305 HP (on regular unleaded!), looks good, comfortable inside, big enough for a family.
3) Chevy Malibu: a modern counterpart to your Taurus, but way nicer.
4) Ford Taurus: it's back, and will look totally different than what you have now. Wait for the 2010 model, which is redesigned from the current model.
5) Ford Fusion: probably a bit smaller than the others, but looks pretty good, and is reported to handle really well. If memory serves correctly, it's based on a Mazda platform that's received rave reviews for handling. I wouldn't be surprised if you could get a real bargain on a 2009, as the 2010 version has been redone completely. If you go with the 2010 model, check out the hybrid - 41 mpg in the city.
6) Lincoln MKZ: really nice inside, and air conditioned seats! Every car should have air conditioned seats. I drove a rented one on a long straight highway drive, so I have no idea of how it handles. Rides nicely though.
7) Chrysler 300: I had one as a rental car recently. Looks good outside, big inside. Mine was a rental with ~45,000 miles, so I can't really comment on how a new one would feel inside.

Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. Two cars built well in America.

Stop the madness.
The new pro basketball team (NBA minor league, whatever it's called now) in Portland, Maine, will be named the Red Claws. I'm sure there are worse names for sports franchises, but I can't think of any just now.

Niko Case
Someone here (Not Bob?) was hot on Niko Case. She's Amazon's download deal of the day, so for today Niko's cheap.

Oh, that reminded me of a "stupid nephew" story from my last gabfest with the girlz. Guys may want to skip this or cross your legs! Per Adder, this warning is too mild. Guys, read this at your own risk.
Warning space.
More warning space.
My friend's 18yo nephew was staying with her and called her at work to come take him to the emergency room because he "ripped his penis" & it was bleeding. He gave her some bogus-sounding story about a too small condom & sex with his GF. He ended up getting 17 stiches near the tip. (That makes even me wince.) We concluded either it was a case of vagina dentata or there was a piercing involved, either in GF's Brazilia or a tongue piercing. Or maybe the GF had braces.
