He, objectively, is probably ugly or at least grotesque (at least, before he had the surgery, I haven't seen him since the surgery, and there was a plastic surgeon involved in putting him back together again).
But when we were dating, I found him to be attractive. He has some rather remarkable features that help lessen the deformities and he does what he can to draw your attention away from the top of his head. I guess I'm saying that ugly people can be attractive, at least if they have other good qualities that minimize their flaws.

You are again proving you are the patron saint of this board. I bow down. good person, you are.

Unless you really piss him off.
Or unless TCOTU has changed him a lot.

That is what I am saying. Not only was Thurgreed NotPolite but he was gleaning enjoyment from his put downs. That is like an ugly side of a person....Shapey is much more polite.

I think that to the extent you love or like someone very much, they become attractive to you. I think I have said this before. You find something about them to be attractive, like their eyes or their hands or whatever.
That's not the same as "pretty" or "cute" or "handsome" though.

Somewhere, someone might find them attractive. Even pretty. Don't be such a hard grader.

Sorry, but like I said I find you as retarded as TM. And now you want some other anonymous lawyer on a message board to say whether you are pretty after he offered to rate you on a "how much I'd like to hit that" scale. Amazing.

Sorry, but that's the honest truth.

I think TM was probably spot-on in his assessment,* and Shapey might be equally blunt if he were, say, talking to me on the phone. But you were an idiot to expect TM not to be totally blunt. I would never in a million years ask TM of all people to evaluate me to the board.
*possibly a little off on the "good personality" part.

I wouldn't wish the experience you've had over the past couple of days on my worst enemy, but you have to admit you gave him so much ammunition, not only by agreeing to such a meeting under such terms in the first place, but also by not letting the topic drop and trying to get him to change his mind or his public statements. It's that persistence that has contributed to the pile-on and the repetition of comments about your looks, which, if you are attentive, you will notice not everyone has participated in even where they have otherwise commented.
Most people here do not care about your looks, or anybody else's, one way or the other. You should really stop obsessing about this.

I think Gauguin said "The ugly can be beautiful, but the merely pretty, never."
At least it says he said that in Even Cowgirls Get The Blues.

That is correct. I just ask the universe for what I want and ..., voila!
Still looking for the pants. No luck yet. Sometimes the universe is busy tending to someone else's needs.
