 | Does he have a claim for negligent infliction of emotional distress? Tortious interference with conjugal duties?

CP = Club Paradise. Word to the wise.
 | Are credit card companies just begging for chargebacks? They put a time on the charge as well? Why not just put the charge in bold and italics, with a notation: "Female cardholder please review"?

(Fortunately, Mrs. Finch doesn't give a shit about that sort of thing.)
 | Does anyone's wife really give a fuck about strip joints or internet porn? I think that's more myth than reality.

 | Hello Citibank? I'd like to question a charge. I have never heard of "Open Industries" and I certainly did not consent to their charging my card for more than $100. ... Yes, could you please find out for me? ... Yes? Oh, good. ... Uh-huh. I see. A-ha. Well, nevermind. Uh, thank you. Goodbye. |

 | There are various reasons why people here choose to meet other posters IRL. BUT:

1. Meeting Thurgreed so he could report back to the board on your looks was a poor reason to choose to meet him. It would have been a poor reason even if you were hotter than hot because you didn't want to meet him, you just wanted (needed?) someone to validate you to a bunch of other anonymous strangers. He didn't give you the validation you wanted so that made you feel hurt and defensive.

2. Because you feel hurt & defensive, you are way overreacting. So what if TM thinks you are not pretty? You are reacting as though the alternative to Not Pretty is Ugly but he didn't say you are ugly. What's wrong with being just OK looking?

3. Choosing to meet more posters only for the purpose of validating your appearance and/or proving something to Thurgreed is an even worse reason than why you met Thurgreed in the first place. Because you are in a lose-lose situation. Best case scenario, the person says you are pretty. But that's not going to change TM's opinion and some people are going to think it is a pity assessment, so what really do you gain?

Worst case scenario, one or more of the people you meet agree with TM and you will feel shittier than you do now.
Let. It. Go. |

 | Canali is sweet shit. I got one as a present and the thing feels like I'm wearing silk pajamas.

Zegna's real nice, but not as solid as Hickey. I've pretty much shredded a Zegna and it ain't old.

Hickey's the best for the buck.

I used to get all this crap half price. My wife was in the clothing business before she went into a different business.

 | Ha. Right. Nice one. You almost had my irl email address until I remembered that tv shows don't have scripts any more. You're probably not even lawyering or paying bills, either.

				Grr

It won't stop. Why won't it stop? What will it take to make it stop?
I'd rather have every poster who has met me IRL carefully construct a post of all my physical and personality flaws than read another post about this stupid meeting between TM and ppnyc. Seriously.

Hell, those who haven't met me can chime in on the personality flaws. Anything to close off this thread.
