2- I've said this on the parents board before*, but Dahl's autobios, "Boy" and "Flying Solo" are great books to read to your kid, if they are old enough to handle his novels. Very very dark, and funny.

*where I was voted, "most helpful."

I'm proud the post was rediscovered though I have no idea why this one in particular has a second life. All my nuggets rise in value with age. |

**Not born there but while I lived in that borough I never heard Manhattan called "The Island." Only Icky's 2 options: Manhattan or the City. |

Unless the other option is to hear people debate whether Manhattan is called "the Island" or "the City," in which case, carry on about your nuggets.

				Question

Just curious, should a lawyer, by let's say, his tenth or eleventh year of practice, know the meaning of "information and belief?"

The Cloisters are a fine place to sit and contemplate your inevitable demise and take in the nuggets left by a dead civilization, but if you want to spend time in Inwood, go to the bars near the old rail yards or under the GW Bridge, grab lunch in one of the old german restaurants you can still find on Broadway, or go to the park and watch the kids play baseball - the Dominican influx has really schooled the old-timers on how the game is played.

It's a neighborhood, not really a tourist destination. Great place if you like the flavor of different neighborhoods, not really interesting if you're looking for entertainment.
