Sure it does. Eventually someone gives up and takes care of business for himself/herself.

"Don't take it personally... Could you pass me a Kleenex? Thanks much.

...Is there any of that pizza left downstairs?"

The Crowes could be better songwriters, but as someone here once described Judas Priest, that's immaterial, as their real excellence is in playing other people's songs. The Crows couldn't be worse songwriters, and only find peaks of excellence in their career when not releasing anything or playing anywhere. In a proper world, they'd have taken Mick Jagger's statement about silence being the most important note in music to a fundamentalist extreme.

Maybe for guys. Not so much for women. In my experience, anyway.

I bet it's even worse for women in their 20s since most guys their age learned how to perform oral sex via internet porn.

I went to a Crowes show five or six years ago because a friend had an extra ticket. My expectations were medium, but they put on a totally solid show and finished with a version of Sometimes Salvation that was like a rock sermon. They may not be the most brilliant or edgy musicians, but I'd see them live again.

I wonder if we can start a Cougar Cunnilingis Mentoring program for the lost generation.

The place I rent in NYC each October belongs to their tour manager. If you'd like I could see if I can get you some sweaty underwear from the bass player, or something.

Chuck Klosterman roughly agrees:

"THE TEN MOST ACCURATELY RATED ARTISTS IN ROCK HISTORY

10. The Black Crowes: Their first album sold more than five million copies, which is precisely the right number. Stoned people like this band, drunk people think they’re okay, and sober people hate the overwhelming majority of their catalog. This all makes perfect sense."

(I couldn't find a good link, as he used to refuse to write online.)

Clearly you have never encountered the male ego.

"What?? You're not done?? Why? What?? I can make you come. YES I CAN! I can and I will. Here, let me try again."

my first efforts at the act were so bad, that the memory shames me almost as much as the Guernica posts.

It's been a long time I've had any sex partner not my husband, and it's been a long time since I've had this problem.

But trust me, it exists.
