Most likely Rosy Palm. And since you have a shitty car, all 5 sisters as opposed to the two that us BMW owners can get by with.

I like the color changing disco interior lights in the new models. God bless whoever invented LEDs.

Other than that, I have little to contribute other than the run flat tires on my sister's Mini have been terribly expensive.

She doesn't have to buy those as replacement tires.

While true, it's a steep bill if one tire gets thrashed to replace all 4.

Hi, Burger! It's been a while. I hope things are going well.

You're right about the entry cost. When I used the word replacement, I was thinking more of the next time she needs a new set of tires. Also, if you look around, you can often find deals for four regular tires that are almost competitive with one runflat.

On the topic of Minis I defer to Mini owners. I believe, however, that some runflat/TPMS systems require you to purchase new rims if you downgrade from runflats to regular tires. When last shopping for Odyssey minivans, this fact, combined with the fact that the special TPMS rubber can only be installed with specialized tire mounting hardware at a Honda dealership and certain select Michelin retailers, made the decision not to get the ultralux trim package, which already carried Honda's $5,500 premium sticker, oh so easy.

WTTW: Ask the sales guy whether you can reshoe with regular tires; confirm it; don't assume anything.

You lost me at the part where you went shopping for a minivan.

We switched out on our Mini and I don't recall it requiring new wheels. Of course, that was way back in 2007.

Honda had a proprietary wheel/tire system that they were sued over it was so bad. Generally you can replace runflats with regular tires no problem.

No, seriously, this was helpful.
