My bad -- I hadn't realized that "Greatness" was defined as "Crushed on by ncs."

But I should have realized that. It's the only way anyone from Men At Work could make the cut.

It was just a lame joke, but I didn't realize anyone would get so worked up over rock flute. My bad. I now deem Sidd the expert on all things rock flute-related.

I was commenting on the "crushed on" part. Jethro Tull was horrible, and the worst part was the flute.

I thought Sidd didn't think rock bands should have horns? maybe he meant, woodwinds are okay but brass is out?

I would have gone with some riff on last dance, but that's cool.

As a tribute, I present a portion of I Feel Love, as interpreted by the Italian twin brother lounge jazz act the Montefiori Brothers, as re-mixed by German Hammond B3 Organ-obsessed duo, Le Hammond Inferno. I like this version because it always creates a mental picture of Thurgreed, wearing neon pink Converse All Stars, knee high tube socks, sparkly short shorts, a skin tight halter top, copious amounts of eye liner, and a drum major hat and baton, high stepping down the street, twirling the baton like a pro, and vamping for the crowd:

I was just listening to a 2003 interview with her. She seemed nothing like her public persona. In the interview, she struck me as extremely smart, very funny, and an all-around cool person. I was a huge fan when I was in elementary school, but later thought of her as kinda cheesy. And I suppose her persona was a little dated and cheesy, but she was a class act.
