I spent the entire summer of 2016 doing a dep in St. Joe's MI. Made a single plaintiff $20 million. Made American Platinum going through ORD. Those shiny luggage tags sure were sweet tho.

On another note, I made a vegetarian version of the world famous Oki Dog and was really surprised that it tasted quite decent. I didn't take pictures of mine but will in the future. Here's the original.

A dep. Single plaintiff. 4 days a week over like 3 weeks (June into July) with intermittent travel and prep that stretched it out. Dep went from 9 to 4. Traveling from St. Joe's is a bitch -- 4 hours to Ohare.

No dep time limits? I know it's my state, but I'm ignorant on state court rules.

Re: Objectively intelligent.
I so remember when Sebby assured us that we didn't need to worry about Barr pulling this kind of sh*t. Ah, those were the days.

Case was filed in NY. There weren’t any time limits then. There are now but I’m already getting pushback. From my boss.

I once had a deal that kept me flying in and out of Evansville, Indiana. Sure, it was the definition of Hicksville in so many ways, but, still, I got to get out and about a bit, where I've had to go to more exotic locales just to be trapped in an airport hotel or a windowless building for days. Nothing like 4 days in Basel in a windowless room 12 hours a day.
It's possible to be miserable almost anywhere when you're a lawyer.

I have found the NHL and MLB.tv apps to be saving graces. That and you know, some other sites even if you only use them for 25 seconds or so.

The MLB app and subscription is the best thing ever.

That whole Frank Lampard thing is looking sillier and sillier.

I’ll admit that it seemed like a good idea. Someone who could rally the players as “one of them” while enjoying fan support as a local hero. But it’s hard to argue with Chelsea’s current results.

And you get it for free with partial season tickets, even if you can't use them.

You buy Mets season tickets? And people at your firm still come to you for advice?
Honestly, i think the most depressing jobs in Detroit right now must be Pistons or Tigers ticket sales agents.
