Vermont was considered and rejected, because we'd have to show up there personally to get a license, and then wait 3 days. I need something in NY, CT or MA.
But that's the right idea. I'm thinking of a resort-y type place (because there will be a staff wedding planner who can help), but just dialing it down for this (lower-case "e") event.
But even for a small ceremony, you need SOMETHING, right? Flowers? A guy playing the violin or something? God, I'm hopeless.
