It's probably a combination of genetics and the big lifts. But being "ripped" is due to diet. He probably looks like he weighs 215 but is actually 185. I really only do cardio (a) because it feels good, and (b) so I can (mostly) eat/drink what I want.
I think you're a little older than me, and I'm on the same page with muscle - I don't want more. Those days are over. I just want to be strong and pain free. And the lighter I am, the better my back feels.
