In light of E/O's subsequent posts on the lies he's been telling their group of friends and his not following through on something related to the police calls, I wonder if the police didn't take him seriously because of what he said or did about the GF. This happens with women too so don't get on my case about that.
Of course it happens with women, too. When it happens, do you have no sympathy for the abused woman, because she didn't follow through on charges and made inconsistent statements to cops/family/friends?
