I have to disagree. Chicago is a loser's town. Fortunately, we have plenty of them to go around.

The Bears, Sox, and Cubs have an almost fanatical fan base. The Blackhawks aren't far behind. The only sport in Chicago that doesn't have a genuinely devoted fan base is basketball. When the Michael J. show was tearing it up, the whole city was roundball crazy. Once he "retired" and the team went into the dumper, we dropped basketball like a hot rock.

But give us teams that can be counted on to fuck it up annually, and we will be with them to the end.
