Wisconsin, with 61% of precincts reporting, has Kerry up by 1. Apparently, of the two dem strongholds there:

Madison County: almost all precincts have already reported.

Milwaukee County: we have no idea b/c apparently the county doesn't post the results on election nights. What's up with THAT?

My Advice to Dems

The Reps now control all 3 branches of the Federal Government and several of the SCOTUS justices are either dying or will retire/die soon.

If you want to win back at least one branch of the federal government, you have to change You let your hatred for GWB blind you. You put a candidate up for election who is an empty shell of a human being with no fucking convictions at all except that he loves himself.

Hillary can't win in 2008. She is an absolutely awful human being. There are good people who are Dems. She isn't one of them. Neither is John Kerry, that fucking treasonous traitor whose actions during war time caused POWs to be tortured even more by the Viet Cong. What were you thinking putting that piece of human shit on your ticket?!?!?

I sent someone a check to help with that, but I guess it wasn't enough.

For those of you still in disbelief, Carville just conceded Ohio.

Notwithstanding my Yankees in 6 pick, I've been vindicated!!!.

Then again, I'm now also (i) single, (ii) not getting laid for another 4 years, or (iii) all the above, so this ain't exactly a Big [cap B] win.

OMG!!!!! Too too funny. My shoulder is KILLING me. What a tense night.

PS to Not Me - you said there are good Dems out there. Why not mention a few then, and don't act so smarmy about the (apparent) win.

Cheney and Bush are on their way to give speeches

NBC is reporting they are assembling to give their speeches in the Ronal Reagan building.

Kerry is a disgusting person and I truly believe this. And to put a fucking contingency fee trial lawyer on the ticket with him? Now you want to talk smarmy, it doesn't get more smarmy than those two.

Gephardt would have been a good candidate, but the Dems threw him to the side like yesterday's newspaper in favor of Howard Dean for goodness sake. People like Howard Dean can't win a national election. Neither can Hillary.

Lieberman is another good Dem. A Gephardt/Lieberman ticket might have won.
