Nonsense (uh, not you, RP). I still do stuff with my daughter, despite the fact that there are some things she only discusses with her mother (thank God). She and I have overlapping tastes in music and movies, and it's pretty cool to learn stuff from your kid (she gets credit for introducing me to the White Stripes before they broke into my normal frame of reference).
