Actually, even though my husband had seen me kiss a girl prior to our marriage and had even met on several ocassions a girl I sometimes slept with, after several years of marriage, when I casually mentioned that I'd like to fuck a woman we knew, he acted all shocked, like he'd never even considered that I might have sex with women and like it was the biggest surprise of his life.

I was think along those lines, too. (Not that I have any actual experience in this.) Perhaps your ex and the soon to be former mr. brazen didn't like the idea of y'all kissing anyone else, irregardless (ha! I love saying that) of the fact that it was another chick instead of another dude.

2. My soon-to-be-ex did not like me to talk about that at all, even though when he first met me, he thought I was a lesbian because I was involved with a woman (and 2 other men, but whatever).

If I were in a committed relationship, I don't think I'd care about the sex of the person that was being kissed. I'd care about the kissing.

Fortunately, it's been a long time since I've been in a committed relationship so I can kiss whoever the hell I want to.
